I'd just re-read your recaps on Forest of the Dead when I saw this, so the "I lied" thing jumped out at me. Personally, I'm still suspecting she might be...the Rani or something. Which has surprisingly lessened my hatred of her significantly. Time Lords are expected to be as irritating as she is.
I wasn't happy with Amy this episode, though. She felt like a big ol' plot device that was only around to make the Doctor go after River. Also not impressed with Weeping Angels. No matter how many ways Moffat tries to make them really-really-seriously-impressive, they just don't do anything for me.
But that's the second time in a Moffat story where the baddie stole its' victims voices to talk through a radio. Maaaybe three, since the Empty Child had omnicom abilities, too. I was thoroughly unimpressed by it...and not entirely sure why they were bothering. (Although I suspect that'll probably be answered in the sequel. Which apparently I'm going to have to watch on my own, because it's Wednesday and the family still hasn't gotten to it
( ... )
True! True, she could be! I find it odd she was worried about him finding out about her. If she's from his future, and knows how he'll react to...whatever. It implies he's supposed to have found out at some point. So shouldn't she, of all people, know she has nothing to worry about him finding out?

Now he just needs to defy time and the writers and fleeee from evil River.
Absolutely! That's what I'm hoping for! Still think she's a lying con artist. Nothing in this ep disproves it!
