Aww. *hug* I hear ya. It's hard everywhere. Another of my friends hates her job too, and she gets harassed there and nothing is done about it, but she has to say cause no one else is hiring. Man, I hope I can get a job when I move back to MA. But it wont be at Kohls, at least not in Woburn. Thats terrible that they said you could leave early cause they didnt need you! Way to make a person feel unappreciated! >.< In times of a bad economy, places like Walmart and Target do well. My brother works at Walart and he said they are always busy. Although I dont know where the nearest one is... but maybe you could try Target? Its not a big step up from Kohls but they MIGHT be hiring for more hours. Ill pray for you! :-)
As i mentioned before, get your resume up there so that people come to you.
As for school, think about taking night classes (which are only once a week rather than 3 or 4 times like other classes) or something. I do full time school with night classes and online classes and I go to work full time during the day.
Night classes are a good idea, it's just that it wouldn't work out with my commuting schedule. I'll look into it though. I've been working on my resume too. ^^
