Bwahaaa! On your way to an ethics seminar, no less? What kind of ethics seminar? I teach philosophy, sooooo... ::is interested::

Hehheeh.. It was ethics for legal professionals (I'm soon to be a "certified" paralegal, but have been doing the work for about 7 years now)

Will (hopefully yes!) getting certified mean a raise in pay?

Doubtful, but I don't get paid badly as it is. The real idea is that I will have a 'proven' education to back my experience and a lot of law firms require a paralegal to be certified.

I'm also moving to Kansas City, MO, next year so I wanted to make sure I had my proven education.
