I'm really glad I'm going to be driving x_jerseygirl up to Novato this afternoon for Lasik surgery because if I was at home, I'd be sorely tempted to let New Cat #2 out of solitary confinement

Especially not when you're a five month old bundle of energy who has never been alone. Kitten's gotta roll...

You should get pants! :) But I managed to destroy every pair of jeans I own last week, so...they're kind of critical. Good thing I'm on vacay this week and can slum around wearing yoga pants and sweats until they get in.

Thanks! I'm actually prefer shorthairs, so fuck knows how I managed to wind up with two longhairs followed by a medium-who-wants-to-be-a-longhair... :)

THat's fine, you're encouraging curiosity about one another. If they're curious instead of hissing at each other, that will ease transition.

New Cat is hissing, so it's going to be fun when she's released. There will be a water bottle at the ready for an intervention.

Tali, though, is reminding me a lot of Arnold, who was very concerned when Toast was cooped up in the bathroom when I had to take him to the vet for a short stay. No hissing, just "Hey, do you know there's a cat trapped in there? I'm worried about them, so Imma gonna stay right here."

The w/d repairperson is coming sometime around lunchtime, so it'll need to be after whenever they leave. I'll have to text you when they're gone to let you know when I'm okay to go. Can only play until like 5:30 or so, too, I have to cook dinner for movie nite. :)
