BUY IT. I've never heard any other version, and of course you always have a weakness for the one you hear first, but IMO it's completely AWESOME.

(iTunes also has him singing "Anything Goes", the song that was in that video I linked several days ago....*is not enabling you or anything*)

Did he perform in the Joseph show? I remember seeing the original with Donnie Osmond. (Yes, my first thought was THAT Donnie Osmond?! As if there's another. I loved it.)

I don't know; I've never seen any versions of it. It sounds like something I'd like, though.

Have you seen the videos where he's reading bedtime stories on CBeebies? "Hi. I'm John. Do you like my stripey cushions? They're great, aren't they?" "Hi, I'm John, and I've been making some pumpkin soup." How can the man be so hot and so gay and so afreakingdorable all at the same time?

Ahem. Sorry. I mean, I know I've heard that Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat song somewhere! I think on my Best of Andrew Lloyd Webber CD from college? I think it was one of my favorites.

I don't think I could watch him reading bedtime stories. I think I'd just spaz right out and fall over from lack of oxygen.

I've never heard that song before, but now I love it. I mean, of course I love it because he's singing it, but the song itself is awesome as well. The whole idea of praising God no matter your individual circumstances, not only when things are going well for you, is a very powerful one for me.

Heh. I've only actually watched one of the bedtime stories all the way through, and I had to keep pausing it to recover my last shreds of composure before going on.

The whole idea of praising God no matter your individual circumstances, not only when things are going well for you, is a very powerful one for me.

It is really nice. (And kind of unexpected, too. I mean, from a mass market musical.) And a pretty song to boot!
