I don’t often order salads unless I’m at a decent restaurant…I struggle conceptually with going through the whole process of ordering and paying for what is essentially a bowl of lettuce, with some stuff on it. Lazy knife work, methinks. Or some insane marketing guy making a buck with some cockamamie study telling the Executive Chef that big pieces of lettuce make people think they're getting more. Bigger is better and all that...

(PS: Cockamamie is a real word and spelled correctly, I'll have you know)
