I got a call today from HR today. Apparently I'm being sent to New Orleans instead of Chicago. The news came as a surprise to me... but it really shouldn't have. I was well aware that the Chicago project was ramping down; there was no need to send me. I suppose my subconcious decided to overlook this bit of logic in the hopes that I would end

New Orleans is incredible though. You'll love it. Great food, fabulous nightlife, incredible weather, and a wealth of opportunities in a rebuilding city.
