Started yesterday off right with the always-wonderful The Egg and I. Our waitress was exceptionally cute. Breakfast was great, and I managed not to clean my plate of hash browns. Progress

Our auction for the master bedroom is going to be epic.

Is that standard fare? I think that's brilliant. I wish I had thought about that years ago. In my case, it'd have been like three people and two beds. How much do you care to have the single bed? Well, it must have a different value to different people. Let the market sort it out.

In the early 80s a bunch of my college friends got a house for the summer in provincetown (I wasn't in, just spent a week visiting). There was much agida over who should get a particular bedroom. One of them (my closest friend at the time) suggested an auction was the fairest way, and pretty much got laughed out of the room by the rest of them.

I forgot to tell you Steve and I drove by the house on Sunday. I guess you know the house seems fine.

One nice thing about being in charge of housing - I feel I have every right to claim the master bedroom if I want it in our house.

Decent Thai, I've had. Good Thai, however, different story. I don't think I've been where you're talking about, though.

BTW - there's a decent thai place down the street from the Rio. Did you ever join us there last year? It's like a few blocks away - about a block from the Palms in the strip mall there.
