Holy fucking hell
So I'm clicking away at some 300/600, losing my ass off, when my roommate Micah says:
"It's looking at us."
"What?"
"You don't see it? It's looking at us. It's stalking us."
"What the fuck are you talking about?"
"You don't see it?!? LOOK!" [points]
And then I saw it.

I'd like to point out those hooks hanging there are not small. At this point, for those that might say, "well, you've spent close to four years in Costa Rica, aren't you used to huge bugs?" I respond, in four years of living here, I've maybe seen *one* bug that was *half* this bug's size. I even sent the picture to a Tica friend of mine whose response was, "HOLY FUCKING SHIT! CHRIST ALL MIGHTY!! EWWWWWWWWW!"
I kept playing (buried) but distanced myself. I mentioned that Micah has to get a picture of this, so he ran upstairs to get the camera. But by the time he came back down it started climbing on the ceiling towards us.
I continued playing. I get dealt 96 and raised. The BB called. The flop came AKT or something like that. He checked.
And this gigantic mammal-like insect JUMPED.
Micah and I scrambled to get away. What an amazing stroke of luck, it dove right into our waste paper bin!
T: Hurry, tie up the bag and throw it out!
M: I don't want it to jump out!
T: Umm...okay, let's find something to throw on it.
We unroll half a roll of paper towels, wet it until it became a big gooey ball of paper towel, and huck it into the waste paper bin. Micah quickly grabs the bag, ties off the end and we throw it into our big kitchen garbage bag.
M: I hope it doesn't chew through the bag.
I am scared. Very scared.
