So for some reason I never even though that Roth was Sephiroth. I'm pretty sure there wasn't really a very detailed description of him up until this point but I don't remember. Even so I feel silly for not thinking about it before since you did say this ended up as a KH cross-over. My brain supplied it's own image of Roth as a sort of short, not in great shape and unattractive man, not a sexy angel. >< I suppose the name Roth helps with he unattractive image whereas Sephiroth is forever liked with a gorgeous silver haired General. On top of that I totally forgot about Seifer's father and Roth so I had to go back and read old comments because I know I asked you before. I kept wondering how Seifer ended up being Sephiroth's kid, lol.

Side note: I found a motivational picture of Sephiroth with a crazy look. Loreal: because Mother says I'm worth it. LOL!

I feel really bad for Cloud. It must have been awful to have Zack's body just laying there all that time. I think I'd believe Sephiroth too. >< I was really hoping that Zack was alive ( ... )

*grins* I didn't intend for it to be incredibly obvious that Roth was Sephiroth, but that is why I spelled his name Stephen Roth. And yeah, a few people were confused about the whole Seifer's father versus Roth thing. I think it's just the time lag between me posting chapters and the two characters being similar with attacking women, but Seifer's father raped women and Roth tortured them without sex. I suppose it didn't help that I decided that Seifer would never speak his father's name out of spite ( ... )

Any chance you will wrap up the third installment of the Life series during your break? That's not starting something new. ;)

I would totally buy something you wrote. Make it available on my Nook, please. I still think you should pull Bloody Tyr and publish it - it is pretty damn original! You could easily rework some of the stories where you included the characters in totally original story lines. Update them, edit them, expand them maybe and make sure you rename characters; I'd buy them all. Swear it.

Haha, doing the "Life Series" would be something completely new, though! That world has a way of expanding on me, and the only ideas I have for the third installment would take too long with no clear ending in view. ;p

Oh wow, "Blood Tyr," I didn't even think about that. It definitely could be it's own novel, easily, especially with the things I never wrote because I wasn't writing the true epics at that time. But how ironic, "Blood Tyr" was a story that totally stole from other original ideas. Obviously, it was an original itself that just really lended well to SxS. I was also thinking about "Blind Sight" and reworking that at some point into its own piece... maybe.

*laugh* I'm really not doing this for the money. If anything, I think I'm doing this for a chance to write to people who aren't just looking for FF8 stories. I'm such an attention whore. ;p But really, I'd love to have something truly my own out there instead of relying on SxS.

The Life Series is what got me into you (and mpreg) so that will always be a favorite of mine.

You should TOTALLY vamp up Bloody Tyr. And you don't have to sell the stuff for much, but you can self publish online easily and format things for Nook, Kindle, etc. It would be kind of a bonus for your hard work, rather than a full job. I really would buy them, ha ha - whether or not you are an attention whore. ;)

.... Damn you. "Bloody Tyr" has been stuck in my head ever since you mentioned it. I may actually have to attempt a fleshed out novel with it.

Thank you for the chapter! I'm going to go ahead and read the entire fic again soon, as I missed your last update as well... D;
But I completely understand and support you in your decision to write and publish original works. You definitely have the talent for it. I think at this point, I love your writing more than I care about it being SxS. But job and life and fun is more important than stressing yourself out in any case. :D I hope everything gets better in your life.

Ohh also which kdramas were you planning on watching? They are my guilty pleasure... like doritos.

(Oh and I doubt you remember but I used to go by Akiou here, I had to deactivate that account due to a stalker ex, fun...)

I do recognize that the name Akiou. What a shame that you had to get rid of it because of an idiot ex.

Haha, I think that's my main goal in life--to force people into rereading my stories just so my latest chapters make sense. I'm a sadist in that way. ;) Thank you for your support on me writing other stuff. You're one of the people who consistently comments (thus me recognizing the name), so it means a lot that you think it's okay for me to move onto other things. I hate disappointing people. ^^;

Heh, I got hooked on "Tiger and Bunny," so haven't spent time on the Kdramas yet. Do you have recommendations? I'm currently watching the "Coffee Prince," but haven't gotten far. It doesn't help that "The Game of Thrones" came in the mail today and I may have to do a marathon of that. ^^;

Hmmm my favorite one is probably City Hunter or Iljimae. Both nice action dramas. Iljimae is a historical action drama though, but it's very good. And then for a more sad drama I liked The Snow Queen. Coffee Prince was quite good if a bit slapstick for my tastes. xD
I haven't watched any in quite a while so I can't remember a lot I used to like. xD I don't really like the newer dramas because they all seem to be about the idol singers. :s
aghh I need to watch Game of Thrones. I've been meaning to for over a year. I'm just currently obsessed with Sherlock.

I was curious about City Hunter, but I have to admit, I saw the anime of City Hunter and the Kdrama seems way too serious. Unless, are they two completely different series that happen to share the same name?

Man, I'm so jealous of people watching the latest Sherlock episodes. I'm too paranoid to download the episodes, so I'm waiting for the episodes to be available on DVD. Loved the first season (if you can call three episodes a season) and excited for the follow up!

I read this chapter some days ago, but I didn’t have the time to comment until now... It’s just that I’ve been so busy that I shouldn’t be writing or reading anything, but I promised myself that, as soon as I took a little break, the first thing that I’d do was leave a comment here ( ... )

Hahaha, I love that you're apologizing for not having enough time to write a comment when I'm the one taking months to write a single chapter! No need to apologize for something like that--I really appreciate you taking the time to comment no matter what. :D ( ... )

I totally agree with the idea of one of your greatest works being unable to be published because it's fanfiction. I haven't written anything in years, and I very, very very rarely read fanfiction. Your site is pretty much the only one I visit when I get the rare itch to read something about Squall and Seifer. Because while I do love their characters, I just find it so much trouble to try to find something new by another author that's written well and captures their characters the way I'd like ( ... )

Isn't it frustrating? I mean, I love fanfiction, but after a while, it's painful to realize that I will never get real exposure by working only on fanfiction. It has also been a little sad watching SxS cannibalize my few original fic ideas. I love those boys, but man, I want something of my own eventually.

I completely understand what you're saying about not becoming a big published author when writing gay fiction. It's been interesting, actually, watching many of the fanfiction authors I loved becoming young adult authors with gen romance. Anymore, young adult appears to be the big thing (Harry Potter, Twilight, Hunger Games, etc), so I guess it's logical, but I just want to write stories that I enjoy. I don't need to be a big time author, but I'd like to write stories that more people would potentially read beyond strict FF8 fans. It's a small dream, but I don't have the ambitious spirit as many people out there. ;)
