X-amount of words

A few days later than I wanted, but here's the update I figure that some people have been waiting for - 'High Price of Love' chapter three. I hope it's worth the wait. ^^; I've already started into the next chapter of FNFE, so be prepared for that as the next update. Hopefully it'll come out smoothly, but I never know until I get deeper into the ( Read more... )

high price, update

I'm glad you are back sweety and that you are okay, or at least I really hope you are okay. *Hugs* And as always I worship your writing, even if most of the time I'm shy and do it silently. *blush*

Heh, I'm doing as well as can be expected. I think I'm still in the denial stage where I hope to run into my sister and everything is okay, but I know that the solution isn't that simple.

*laugh* I don't blame you - I'm completely shy myself when it comes to new people and things, so I understand. I'm also lazy when it comes to commenting on other author's writings, so I'm happy whenever people take the time/energy to comment about my works.

Ooooh! Commenting before reading the fic, but I'm quite excited to hear you've submitted to the Ycon anthology! Hope to see 'em in there, since I'm planning to actually get one while I'm there this year XP Will you be attending?

Yup, I got in a random original fic that came to mind and I also submitted an SxS mpreg I've had sitting around. I'll laugh if they accept that latter one. ;)

Well, it's already out there so I can't really hide the fact, but yes, I'm going to Yaoi Con this year. I have a feeling that I'll be totally out of my element once I'm there, but I'm hoping to have fun, too. gardensgnome has promised to make certain of it. ;)

I'm sure you'll have a fun time! Yaoicon's quite a bit smaller than most cons, and much more tightly knit too (and fun's pretty much guaranteed if you're going with a friend). If you happen to be wandering around the artist's alley, I'll be sharing a table with frog_vamp, so stop by if you feel like it ^__^

Heh, I'll certainly try to have fun. ;) And yeah, remind me about artist's alley again before the convention since I'd love to see what artworks you'll be showing off!

Hey! A few days ago, I've been wondering if I should ask how you're doing or leave you be. I'm glad to see a post from you.

And donating blood? *shudders* maybe I'm selfish but I'm afraid of needles^^

*laugh* You should know me by now - I get talkative right after I've posted something, and then I start hiding in the background for a couple of weeks before appearing again. Mostly I try not to get too distracted while finishing up a chapter, but that didn't work too well this time around. I popped in the 'House' DVDs, and though I knew how everything was going to end, I couldn't stop watching House himself. Damn you, Hugh Laurie! =P

I think it's perfectly fine to be selfish. This time around, I got a person who couldn't handle my vein being right there for the taking. I haven't had it hurt like that in a long time. But in the end, I'm O-neg, so I feel like I have some sort of duty to donate whenever I get the motivation. Three times this year, and I got my gallon pin the last visit. But yeah, I blame a friend that I got myself registered as a bone marrow donor. They say you may never get selected for even the first round of testing, but knowing my luck, they'll get me one of these days. Now that sounds painful.

Ah yes, good ol' doctor House is just so addictive^_^ Laurie is an amazingly talented actor. I'm always impressed by how much emotions he can convey through body language alone.

Bone marrow? The one where they stick a needle into your spine? *backs away slowly*

I just love that part in the bonus features when they are talking about Laurie's audition, how the director (or whatever title) was excited to have an American actor portray the role perfectly. I have to wonder how long his staff let him believe Laurie was American. ;) And as a random note, the director is in an episode! I watched the one about the baseball player and the broken arm, and at the beginning with him doing the commercial, the 'director' is actually the director. It's cute when he says something like, 'everyone thinks they are a director.' He must have been dying to do that line ( ... )

Okay. I just read the chapter. And I have to ask (because it will bug me until I figure it out..which could take.. forever.) What would people think you missed?

...Really. That's going to murder my brain until I find out.

...By the way, great chapter. Loved it. I think the angst impied with Squall possibly having AIDs is great. (I'm a sucker for bad things happening)

Well, it looks like you got the answer already. Poor Squall, completely distracted by Seifer's wiles. ;) Of course it came around because I forgot around during the first writing, and when I read through it, I decided that Seifer just wasn't ever going to release that hand. And really, he's a bastard who doesn't mind everyone thinking that he had just given Squall a quickie. So, I'm just going to let Squall make Seifer pay for it in the next chapter. ;)

Heh, I just couldn't help myself with the angst. Squall's an idiot who can never forgive himself for stupid mistakes. Thus, he needs Seifer around to help him to forget... just like he forgot about the pants. ;)
