I love your Seifer more and more. I think the closing line on this one is my favourite part. :)

Heh, I try. Personally, my all-time favorite Seifer is still by loqia in her 'Future Loop' fic, which is kind of funny since I think she hates Seifer compared to the most of the other FF8 characters. Well, she did at one point, at least. Anyway, her muse has always been a 'role model' of sorts when I want my Seifer to channel his bastard side.

*laugh* I have a friend who is a very tall and large man, a teddy bear at heart, but the very effective head of security at a convention. But damn, he has a great gay voice, which is so very wrong. One of his favorite things to do at the convention is to scare volunteers by playing overtly gay with random friends.

I did start off hating him myself, but both Pixie and Race Ulfson changed my mind just over a year ago. I started roleplaying a squall randomly with one of them and somehow... I liked the Seifer they tossed out. Heh. and Race's other half Acid Rain is the source of my bastard Seifer. Mine always ends up way too sarcastic - even if I do love playing with and channelling him (goddamn, when did they get all those fics O.o). And it's been so long since I read future loop, gawd. You had to show me that when I have an assignment due, hm? ;)

Hee, I'd love to meet him. He sounds so cool :)

Eh, I never hated Seifer... I've always hated writing him, though. I just never feel like I'm doing him justice, but I think I've gotten a little bit better over the years. Squall is just so much easier for me.

Ah yes, I love Race's Seifer in her 'Blood Knight' story. A shame that it never got finished... There's actually a lot of great WIP fics out there, and it's so sad seeing them dated back years ago. That's the main reason that I try my hardest to finish my fanfics - I hate how it feels to read a WIP and know that it'll never end. Even if my ending suck, hey, at least they end. =P

Four Am???? You're psycho... though I have friends who start work by 6am, so they probably wake up that early, too. I personally think 7am is far too early. *laugh*

This Seifer is hilarious. I loved his shamelessness, in his interaction with Irvine at the bar. I also loved his sensitivity in how he handled Squall after learning about his mother. Also loved how he picked up on Rinoa's obsession with Squall. (Adding this since I slacked off and didn't comment on the last chapter.) Just massively feeling the Seifer love. He's just as confident, smug, arrogant, annoying, and appealing as he is in the game, even in this very different AU. Thanks for updating.

I'm glad that you're enjoying this Seifer. It's typically hard for me to tap into his bastard side, which this fic requires in spades. It's nice to know that I'm doing something right. And yeah, while he's a bastard, Seifer isn't a complete prick about certain things. He loves to fight with Squall, but he likes to believe it's all in good fun. Squall just doesn't realize it yet. *laugh*

*laugh* Wrap up FNFE? That isn't going to happen anytime soon, but I'm finally moving into better realms, so it should get easier. Especially when Squall figures out that Seifer can actually be a good thing in his life, not just the plague Seifer seems. =P
