After months of promises, I have finally come through - 'Blind Sight' has been completed with these last chapters of fifteen and sixteen. It's a rushed ending, as per usual for me, so just remember - you are getting what you paid for. ^^ Also, I have another pic from Ruth! She is too good to me

Heeee and I loved adored kissed and hugged the FF7 Sephiroth/Cloud reference. *snifff* was sad to heart that to them it didn't end well but still damn adored the reference.

Ohhhh but did the emention of Chaos protecting the goddes from a god slayer mean that Seifer was the reborn soul of Sephiroth? Just curious.

It's always nice to have a kind review as the first one. ;) I hate ending fics since you can't please everyone with an ending, but you still have to end the fic. So painful. =P

Nope, Seifer isn't a reincarnation of Sephiroth. They just happened to both be really stubborn idiots who didn't want to die, and their price was the leftovers of Hyne's powers. That's their only connection.

And I'm assuming you meant Squall and not Cloud dying, but yes, I thought people wouldn't like me leaving it with the one posted chapter. It was tempting to be mean, though... ;)

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I've been waiting for you to finish this and I think it was well worth the wait. I would love it if you did have another "monster" fic like this floating around in your head (hint, hint).

I love your stuff. I think you were the one responsible for starting me on the road to writing Seifer/Squall fics (thank you very much for that by the way). I haven't written many fics in FF8 (a PWP and an eight chapter fic) but I've had tons of fun doing it. And it's probably all your fault. Thanks again.

Well, that's certainly nice to know that it was worth the wait. It's hard to believe that it has taken me over a year and a half to write this damned story, but considering how much went into it, I guess I shouldn't be that surprised.

And you are cruel to wish another monster fic onto me. I have a shaky feeling that FNFE will end up longer than I'd like, but that's completely Squall's fault. The bastard is getting revenge on me for the backstory I made up for him in that fic, and the simple fact that it's an mpref makes Squall that much more difficult. Alas. =P

Happy to have corrupted another soul into wanting to write about these two difficult boys. ;) I'll never understand why, but this pairing will always remain my favorite.

I couldn't imagine writing a story for that long. When the Muses start smacking me between the eyes with a story, they are relentless. The longest I was writing a single story continuiously was 9 months for one of my novels. That was hard enough, so hats off to you for sticking with it as long as you did.

I don't think I'm cruel for wishing another monster fic on you. Then again, I was use to writing novels before I started on the fanfics. Maybe I'm just more of a sadist than I thought. And just so you know, I was fairly easily corrupted (and enjoyed the experience). You've also got me thinking of doing an mpreg myself. Looking forward to reading more of your stuff soon.

I've been reading Blind Sight since the beginning and I'm glad I did as I'm not disappointed at all. Although, there is much that could be explained by the implied Sephiroth x Cloud + JENOVA aspect you put but hey, I thought it added more flavour to an already tasty fan fic.

Simply adored the running gag of Seifer smelling bad. xD Makes me giggle everytime I read it.

*laugh* Glad that you are satisfied with the ending after reading it from the beginning. Yes, there was plenty I could have gone into with more detail, but really, most of that happened in the past, thus it would've be a lot of 'telling' and very little 'showing'.

Truthfully, the whole Sephiroth and Cloud thing was just me being lazy. I didn't want to come up with new character names, so I decided that Sephiroth would make a nice psycho god slayer. Cloud and Jenova just kind of fit in without me thinking too hard about it. I haven't thought out their story in least except for what's mentioned in the fic. To Squall and Seifer, it's something in the very long past, so the only type of records about that time is from the Bukre du Hieghen, aka not reliable information in the least. =P

Heh, Seifer is filthy. That's the simplest description of him in my mind - a filthy mouth, a filthy mind, and occasionally a filthy body, especially when he fights and things bleed on him. And yet, Squall still manages to love him. What an idiot.

Heh, no one has been looking forward to the end of this fic more than me. I knew from day one that this story would take a long time to finish, but damn, didn't expect sixteen chapters worth of material. And those aren't small chapters! I blame Seifer. If he would've been a nice little sacrificial lamb, then I wouldn't have to deal with this monster of a fic. But no, he had to be difficult and want to live. At least Squall rarely has issues with dying for me. =P

*laugh* Can't say that anything from Disneyland/world has inspired me. Was tempted once to do a 'Timber Land' one shot for the 'Life Series', but that never happened (obviously).

A-aw, people are just being nice to this poor tormented writer and giving good reviews. I'm just happy to have the story done with. My favorite thing is to come up with story ideas, so I tend to finish one fic for the soul purpose of starting a new fic asap. =P

I totally understand about the not realising how long something would take to finish too - how do damn one shots suddenly become a multichapter? or an arc of three?
