Oh, I love it! ♥ The beginning with snarky Wash and an equally snarky Taylor works perfectly for these two. :D They are so relaxed with each other and yet not out of character at all.

It's a brilliant move that you keep the reader guessing as well where Taylor is taking her and I have to admit that I didn't know it was a hot spring until Wash said it. <3

The picture you've painted with your words as you describe the pool and its surroundings make me feel like I'm really there. It's such a beautiful one and belongs clearly into the Terra Nova world.

Then of course their little tryst that just stole my breath. Incredible and so very hot. You have a way with words that give their encounter something 'magical' and it's fantastic. :)

I'm so glad you liked it! Also that the hot spring remained a surprise - I kept coming up with titles that were puns on "Heat" but thought it would give it away.

It makes me happy that you thought these two were in character. I'm writing something else which is more angsty and I'm still trying to get their voices straight in my head. At least I know I should be able to fall back on snark :D

Seriously. Soon they'll have a bunch of the colony teenagers in sex ed who already know it all because nobody ever locks the door to the command tower. And they'll wonder why the anatomical drawings are doing it on a bed instead of a desk.
