One, this is well written. Two, Lucas is a creep and I kinda want to kick his face in. Skye might not be my favorite character but...yikes. For sure she needs to be protected from that.

Three, and most importantly, dear lord in heaven your icon is the most glorious thing I have ever laid eyes on.

Haha, thanks! I finally downloaded GIMP just to make it. :D

And I think there's definitely something deep-rooted about Lucas's creepiness, something that goes beyond Terra Nova and the break with his father in 2138 or whatever year they quoted.

That was creepy. And from the little we've seen and heard from Lucas I think you got his creep-factor just right for this story.
