Can't say I blame Mira really. I mean of course I don't approve of what the Sixers have done, but working with/for Lucas you definitely need a backup plan.

Nor can I fault the part of Wash that relishes the opportunity to beat Mira senseless.

Ooo, I like that Wash wasn't let out of the tent in case the recon team spotted her. Makes loads of sense and adds another layer to Carter and Mira's characters.

Glad that Jim didn't take no for an answer there. Someone's got to look after Taylor.

I know I have more to read since I'm just now getting a chance to catch up, but I just needed to give this chapter a ^_^

I suspected that the two extra objects on Wash's tags were their wedding rings, but its nice to have it confirmed. The trust and grudging respect you are building between Wash, Mira and Carter is wonderfully done, and I kinda teared up at Taylor's thoughts when he was heading out to get flowers for the Shannon women.
