I decided to bunker down and play Deus Ex, and I have to say that this game is the shiznit. Sup! It's a cool game, and i already know you'll enjoy it. It's a classic for a reason! Of course, it's certainly dated and i'll occasionally watch clips and playthroughs on line and can't help but laugh. Nostalgia or not, it's a decade old.
H-humans must revolve... i'm excited for the game! I will buy El Shaddai and try to finish it ASAP and then trade that in towards Human Revolution X starring Aerosmith.
Speaking of character builds though, i always have that same problem. I'm kind of speccing Adam in my head as a stealthy, melee specialized hacker-cyborg but i know for a fact i'll go heavy weapons and sniper LMFAO. At the same time, i'll try really hard to go knock-outs as opposed to kills.
LMFAO. The world is tearing itself apart, Lisa!

"Mistah JC Denton, in da fresh..." I remember showing this to my Chinese friend and she did not seem amused...
If the weapons are similar then I'll probably try going sniper/melee, haha... I just can't pass sniper rifles! It also looks like you can use your actual fists, which doesn't seem to be an option in Deus Ex...? In Deus Ex I actually carry around the baton, which I use after the guard is running frantically around after a tranq dart, since it only knocks them unconscious.
