I am floored. I really am.
I understand this type of ignorant behavior in small, middle of nowhere places - but not in Atlanta. I guess that just proves my bias as being ignorant as well.
I am so sorry. And pissed.

Half the legislators who come to the Capitol each year are from those small, middle of nowhere places, and they're the people he felt he had to placate, I guess.

How would they even know, for crying out loud? Do you spend a great deal of time interacting with the legislators?

Bummer! Sorry to hear that! Isn't it government? Aren't there legal things to protect you? Wel, I guess they'd know being attorneys and all..again..I hate to hear that!

Well, I'd say pick up a lawyer and start the process.
More than likely they will settle vs. court and bad publicity.

It doesn't get your job back.
It does give you the opportunity to start a new job as who you are.
