Yeah, I sort of felt the need for quotes after I decided to make pictures. I figured that would help give a complete picture of the character. I hope you at least enjoyed the Edgar blurb.

Yeah, my faith in Nintendo is restored and then some! Whereas my recently restored Squarenix faith took a big nosedive after FFXIII. Yeah.

I did enjoy the Edgar blurb, thank you. :p

Again agreeing with the FFXIII thing. I understand the thinking behind it from the corporation's standpoint, but as a consumer, it's not appealing at all. I don't know why you'd want to base a multi-platform compilation around the PS3 especially. The machine alone is a huge investment; how do they expect you to buy any games for it once you have it? O_o;

Seriously, Garth Nix, listen to Alex here...

I have to say that it's almost infuriating that we waited long and hard for the Creature in the Case, only to be left with ANOTHER cliffhanger and only slight interaction between Lirael and Nick. WHY GARTH, WHY?

We neeeeeeed a sequel!!!!!! *ahem*

/end fanatical ranting

I tried to keep the rabid fangirlism to a minum here, but YES. YES. YES. YES.

For all that I enjoyed NSatCitC, it didn't resolve ANYTHING. It just sort of went on with a 60 page long chase scene, and then Lirael showed up at the end. Nick was revealed to be more messed up than previously thought (he absorbs charter spells/can become some sort of free magic creature?) but did we learn anything solid? No. And...as far as I'm concerened, it made Nick/Lirael canon, and yet, it was all just hints. Not subtle hints, but uh, yeah. 100 pages and they would be kissing. 100 pages! I want those pages so badly!

Also. Sam? Wallmaker? MORE INFO, PLZ.

On the upside, I heard a rumor that he was writing a whole series centered on Nick. But this is only a rumor...

YES, I NEED TO KNOW MORE ABOUT THE WALLMAKERS! Seriously, somebody should have asked Mogget in one of the books. I think I might have even said that on here before, but anyway.

I would become even more irrevocably obsessed with Nix if he wrote a series about Nick, because OMG! Can you imagine what would happen if there were enough books for him to hone his supposed new abilities? AND there would be that extra 100 pages for he and Lirael to kiss and get that ship out to sea.

This is probably a bit too Mogget-esque, as well, but think of what would happen if Nick turned into some sort of berserk Free Magic creature. *giggle* Heh.

It wasn't as if he wasn't available for questioning. Ah well, I guess they were too caught up in saving the world or something.

Oh geez, I don't even want to think about how much fangirling another Nick sequel would get me. Especially as a Nickcentric sequel would probably involve Sam and I've allready said my peice on the Wallmakers. I'd really just like to know what his new abilities ARE. When he was posessed he got...super strong and fast and had a freaky voice, but none of that seems to have transfered over. Instead he's just magic immune, or something.

What I'd really like to see is Nick learning magic, because it would give even more insight into how the Charter works. And the Old Kingdom magic system is my favorite.

Well, at least they're holding hands now? Aahaha, they're so adorable and dorky and awkward. That romance makes me giggle.

Eh, we HAVE already seen Evil!Nick...it's not like he's had the best look with retaining his personality when exposed to Free Magic in the past.

But it's all rendered faintly ridiculous by his stuffy nose.

But faintly ridiculosity (is that right?) is part of why Neville is such a wonderful character. :)

Nick does spy stuff without his eyebrows?!?! I really must read the newest Nix book.

Oh, and I got a book of OSCAR WILDE quotes today, and. Yes. No wonder you love the man, and quote him often. He is brilliant.

Yep, exactly.

INDEED. You haven't read Nick Sayre and the Creature in the Case? Get thee to a library!

Wilde is full of awesome. Uh, extreme, extreme witty awesome.

Heh, I just listed the answers, I'm impressed because you not only have reasons why they're your favourite characters, but you also have pictures and quotes. And Isshin? GETS EVEN MORE AWESOME, which is something I didn't think was possible. Frankly, that manga needs more Isshin and Ishida at the moment. (On that topic, more Bleach. I think Chloé might be uploading more?)

Everyone keeps ranting about Veronica Mars. I don't think it's even showing in Ireland, but my interest is piqued.

And thank you for the plug! :)

The pictures were fun to do...until I had to find pictures of some of the book fandoms. And that was hard. I...uh, yeah, impatiently wait for this arc to end for the sole purpose of more Isshin. The download isn't working right for some reason, and it's breaking my heart. Pay attention to the defense of Nick! I'm making it my mission to convince doubters of his awesomeness, but if we get more sequels with him being the obvious choice for lead, I think Nix might do it for me.

VM is one of those shows it's better watching on DVD anyway.

Of course :P I think there should be more plugging nowadays.
