So almost a year ago, I got a new camera, a Nikon D5100. My D70 was getting a little glitchy. I did some initial setup, and took pictures at a couple of events.

The Gaskell Ball happens every two months. Except when it doesn't. June has always been a slow month for them, and this year, they decided to skip it.
