What one food can you not do without?  For me, unfortunately, it's bread.  I adore bread.  Hot, fresh bread slathered with butter is about the best thing ever.  Dense, chewy bread with a crunchy crust is heaven.  Light, fluffy buttermilk biscuits fresh out of the oven make any meal perfect.  I could go on and on.

So, what's your bread?

Lemons! Whether sweetened in desserts or as-is in savory food.

Oh wow. I love lemons. I used to just eat bags of them until my dentist made me quit. I still eat them sometimes though. And I usually put a whole lemon in any glass of iced tea.

I'm a bread gal too, which is rough because I'm really trying to cut back on it.

I tried that South Beach Diet thing. And it worked. I lost weight. I also wanted to kill people. All I could think about was bread. I craved it like you would not believe. I was so ill-tempered that it was scary. I finally gave it up as a bad deal.

Cheese comes in a close second to bread to me. I love most cheeses too. When we were little and would go to the store, my sister and cousin would buy candy and I would buy cheese.

Chocolate. Does that count? It's not quite food, but... also coffee. The world would be a black place without it. I love the taste, the smell, the look of it. Yum.

Chocolate definitely counts! At least according to my father - he eat chocolate every day. 6 pieces at lunch. And mornings would not be the same without coffee.
