I am actually in the process of reading that book right now. It's pretty good so far.

She wrote it after she finidhed, "The Color Purple" Some of earlier works werks were very angry. Eespecially when it came to the patriarchy

It has a lot of 60s '50s references in i that are interesting. Very Pagan and past life in it's context. Give it a read
