Apartment hunting is depressing because everything is so fucking expensive. And then they won't even pay basic utilities, like sewage and trash what is this fuckery.

The only things that give me any kind of joy right now are writing, reading, and music. But that's not far off from the usual.

Rent is outrageous even in small town Maine where the price might not seem as high as other places compared to what jobs are willing to pay per hour it is ridiculous. Best wishes for a sucessful hunt.

I really enjoyed Rook's reappearance and the developing relationship between the lady with the compass welded to her palm and the soldier. I love the line: "Get some manners you rude little fucker."

Yeah, Rook and Thom are my favorite characters to read about so I really had fun with the last book. I wish there'd been more with the soldier and Madoka, that whole relationship was kind of in between the lines and he was super underdeveloped, but I thought it was pretty cool and there should have been more.

I'm sorry. I hate house-hunting, moving, finances, bills and all that stuff. I hope that the perfect apartment turns up for you soon, without you having to worry too much about it.
