So I'm addicted already. Since Friday I've read eight ebooks. EIGHT. asfhkdsjghkjdgshkjdgh. I guess that shows how starved I was for some good quality fiction that wasn't glommed all over with het. I got a new Dresden files book on Thursday, right before ebooks mania, and pretty much don't care about it anymore. Even though I liked that series well ( Read more... )

They're so addictive right? I've seriously spent a couple hundred dollars on ebooks in the last 6 months :x. I have a recommendation actually. Ann Somerville has some published ebooks but she also has on her main webpage a bunch of free fiction as well, all of which are pretty good.

They are addictive; suddenly I care about original fiction again! I'll check out Somerville, thanks for the rec. :)

I would enthusiastically recommend "Kei's Gift" on Ann Somerville's site (http://logophilos.net/free-original-fiction/darshian/). It's the first book in her "Darshian Tales" series which is probably my favorite thing she's written. (And I think everything she's written is good...)

I would one hundred percent recommend Shades of Gray. And the other ones are good too. But definitely that one. :D

So I'm not sure how I missed this, like, at all. But whatev, better late than never.

I read Shades of Gray. And pretty much all I have to say is KJLD;LASKDJKL!!! It was just so damn interesting that I don't remember ever stopping. I think I read it cover to cover (or, you know, not, since it's an eBook). I could go on for days about all the things I loved about this book.
