Patreon Launch July 15th!

Hey guys! If you don't follow my tumblr, I'm here to let you know I'll be launching a Patreon account on July 15th! If you don't know what Patreon is; short answer is that it's kind of like a Kickstarter except it's small ongoing donations instead of a huge single one, where you basically become a patron of an artist/creator/etc (hence the name!)

I'm especially excited about extended/deleted scenes! I'm hoping for some conversations between Alan and Keyd in there. I just love how those guys interact and would enjoy seeing more of it even if it was stuff you had ultimately decided wasn't important enough to include in the story. I'm glad you'll be doing more of the commentary/notes stuff for the patreon as well. I enjoyed those.

I decided how much I was going to donate based on what I could afford since you're one of my favourite authors and you've given so much to your readers without asking for anything in return. That said, I am excited about the rewards.

Welp you are in luck because the first chapter that will be updated after the launch has an extended scene which is just Keyd and Alan talking more! It's actually kind of important stuff (ish), and will probably go back in for a final draft when I have cut out all of the super excess that's already in the book (and probably split it into two books anyway).

I am glad you're excited about the rewards. I still feel like I should do more but maybe I'll just ease into that. :)

Hi! This patreon thing seems real cool. I don't know anything about this so I guess I'll Google it, but I hope it'll work for people in Europe - I do want to read the "extended cuts" :P good luck! :)

And yeah, it does work internationally! The site is American based so it just automatically translates everything into dollars, but pretty sure it works for all countries. :)
