OK, since I got my Dreamwidth page something like ages ago (but never hardly used it), I'll meet you there, if I can remember my password.

But really, the new Friends' page setup isn't all that shabby. DON'T HIT ME ^^', Of course, I'm usually in the minority about these things...

It's mostly obnoxious because it completely ignores whatever theme/colors/fonts/any presets you've got in your LJ theme and just makes it huge and white and basic. And they're also reacting like children to the complaints about it.

Actually what it seems to be doing is trying to make itself look like a tumblr dashboard. Which...no. Bad idea. :/

Shame, really. It used to be a very respected website. I think what I objected to initially was when they got rid of that button that allowed you to selected a journal at random--probably because nine times out of ten you got something written in Cyrillic.

*sighs* What are they doing this time? I don't think I even got the update post sent to my LJ Inbox for some reason. :/

I probably should be spending more time over on my dreamwidth but for some reason, I just never think to check it. Maybe it's because the mass majority of my flisters either seem to be primarily LJ based or they cross-post from DW-- so I guess I'm not really missing all that much. That being said, LJ does drive me crazy with all of their stupid "improvements."

It's the new friends page layout - it's hideous and unwieldy and will probably work less effectively and less intuitively than the old set up. :/ You can preview it for the moment but it'll probably turn mandatory soon.

I crosspost from dreamwidth, but do very little interaction with people over on that site because nobody is there. But I like it so much more. All LJ's improvements are usually steps back or removing features that everybody likes, like the preview comment feature being taken away just recently and the comment thread configuration being totally redone stupidly.

Hello! Visiting LJ because of that update report thing they frequently send, and saw this entry. =_= I actually didn't understand what they meant in the email, and now that I've seen the beta friends page, I seem to be sinking more into confusion. But lately, this hasn't been my favorite site (once you start reblogging gifs on tumblr, it's hard to stop)... in any case, I might have made a dreamwidth account sometime in the past, if ever the constant upgrading they do here gets too much. :|

At this point I'm not sure I even have the energy to switch because I rarely use LJ anymore but if you do migrate, I suppose I shall have to create an account. *shrugs* I can't even be bothered anymore. haha
