Budgeting

I've always wanted to know where all my money goes, so this month I started keeping track of all of my expenses. I'm really happy about how it's going so far; I have a Google Spreadsheet that looks something like this:

So um. That's totally the last song that my iTunes played. And it stopped playing around the time you posted this. Yeah...

Re: "extrapolating" -- If you're going to purposely make me groan inwardly, at least make it make sense... you can't extrapolate out a month ;).

Anyway, I'm glad you've finally discovered the value of what I use my check register for =). Good luck! =)

I hear you ... in 2005 I guesstimate that spent around $20,000 on ballroom and ballroom-related physical therapy (or about half my income last year), and the rest on food, rent, and the occasional non-ballroom travel. I'm looking forward to doing something else with that money this year. ;~)
