Over the weekend while visiting a holiday art market, one of my artist friends asked what I was working on. "Making a living," I replied and received the strangest look in return. That look has me questioning my whole, entire reality

I create, but am aware of my ability and priorities. Definitely a consumer and an occasional funder.

I haven't been able to get this out of my head. Talking with a girlfriend this morning, she took it less of a judgement and thought it was innocuous, someone who missed art I had created and genuinely wondering what was next. I immediately go to defense, but this actually has me pondering some projects that have been sitting on the back burner. Maybe it's time...
