After 3 years as friends and 9 years together as a couple, today marks the date of you being gone as long as we knew each other. I have spent as much time grieving your absence as I did enjoying your presence. All my love to you. Today and everyday.

It was a bittersweet milestone. Since I had the dreaded noro virus all weekend, there was little time for grieving.

It seemed weightier as it approached but I kept my focus on happy memories. Winter always lays me low, especially when it's this frigid out, but this anniversary kicked off the death anniversary season for me - Husband, Mother & Father within a 6 week period. I'm ready for the sun to appear and help melt my gloom away. Love you!
