OMG! Seriously??? Woohoo!! Blood Ties was the only show that was able to turn me into a raving fangirl lunatic, until Haven. Yes, I heard about the proposed series, but haven't heard anything lately. There's some upheaval going on with the Canadian broadcasting companies right now that might be putting things on hold :-( I think that's one reason Blood Ties wasn't renewed, there was upheaval at that time also, with ownership of this and that changing hands, etc. Did you hear about the pilot that Kyle Schmid is filming now for Syfy?

As much as I love Blood Ties, I just don't think it had mass appeal. Which is a shame, but understandable. I still miss it like woah, though. *sigh*

I hope the Smoke series happens, but I can't imagine anyone else playing Henry.

BT didn't have the appeal it deserved because it was on the wrong network and Lifetime didn't do didly to promote it either. The fans I chatted with all agreed that it would have done a lot better had it been on Syfy, or even USA, TNT, FX. Sadly, it was ahead of its time since after it was cancelled, we got the current crop of vamp shows.
