Okay - I'm TOTALLY gonna try buying a copy! That said, the online store I buy from over here, imports from Amazon on your behalf...but I'm sure I'll be able to get it that way.

By the way, I've been watching your Facebook posts, and I've read that you're having surgery soon. Um...I don't mean to be snoop-ish, but...can I ask what kind of surgery? If you don't want to comment 'bout it on here, you can PM me? I'm just really interested to know. I had surgery almost three years ago, and my dad had major surgery last year...so...I just thought maybe silly little me could give some advice through experience? Not that I might be able to give it, depending on what kind of surgery you're having. Aaaaand I'm rambling?!

But anyway, I'm really excited 'bout this book. And whatever happens, lots and lots of love and hugs and well wishings for your surgery!

No worries - I've got it set for worldwide distribution, so you should be able to get one wherever you are.

I'm having a laprascopic hysterectomy - not as major as the belly-slice approach, but the damn thing is coming out of me, leaving the bits I like, namely my ovaries and my cervix (I hope; they will have to actually do the surgery before they know if they need to remove that, too, because it's in the way). Six weeks' recovery time and a chance to have a major source of pain and stress removed.

I'm sure I'll come up with some horror stories from the experience. ;)

Er...dude - I'm glad I'm not you?! That said, I'm not in your shoes, so I won't know your specific reasons why you're having it done. I know lots of woman go for that option 'cause they have to put up with horrid pain like, ALL the time. Heck - it happened to my mom. Though in her case it wasn't so much pain as having to get blood transfusions due to hella heavy periods. So really, I totally hope it all goes well. Though I must say, I didn't know they could do that laproscopically?! Wow, the things you learn

They can do it laprascopically - and for difficult cases like mine, THEY USE A ROBOT.

Sorry about your ovaries! I have to take natural progesterone in pill form until the surgery in an attempt to make the fibroids shrink a bit and my periods less agonizing... which means that I get to stop that soon. It makes me kind of crazy and depressed, but then again, I was also working a full time job AND working on self-publishing a story about some of the worst times in my life, so who knows what was actually going on. I should be able to keep my ovaries, I guess - I hope. I got enough problems without having to go through menopause right now...
