Ya know I haven't listened to Philip Glass in years. I used to love the 1000 Airplanes on the Roof soundtrack way back in my college days. My first intro to him was this album when my friend Amy used it in her student dance show. Intense stuff and I hear lots of movie/tv incidental music that clearly is inspired by his earlier works. I also had the soundtrack to his opera Akhnaten at some point years ago.
