Back at work today. By 9:45 my head hurt enough that codeine was demanded. I didn't bring any of my Vicodin with me, so I've gone back to the Canadian aspirin. I feel like shit - all my joints hurt, my head is throbbing, and I feel like I'm falling apart, or at least falling over - but another part of me understands that I don't feel THAT bad. I

Hey Jem! ^__^ Just wanted to drop by and good my fave writer in the world a big virtual hug. (hugs) I hope things are better for your joints today. My dad's knees been hurting him so I know how that sucks. As for Maines... Hah. Couldn't have said it any better.

BTW, I'm doing 'scholarly' research on Star Wars. O_o It'll actually get published since it's a part of the summer research program for McNair Scholars. The Dean of Graduate Studies, also helping with McNair, said I might attend sci-fi conferences to present my paper. *_* At the moment, it's entitled "The Impact of Gender on the Distribution of Metaphysical Power." Unfortuantely, the more my mentor and I are analyzing the films the more likely we'll change/modify our original thesis. Anyway, just thought a fellow SW freak would like to know about that. ^_^

Speaking of writing, how's your vampire muse holding up lately? ^_^
