DayQuil and the Emmy Awards

DayQuil is pretty wonderful. I remember it as being this weird Franken-remedy that just threw a whole bunch of caffeine onto NyQuil, and rendered me twisted to Hunter S. Thompson levels. Maybe that's just the liquid kind, because one gelcap actually just made everything wonderful and good, and I was able to get my work done fairly painlessly

Terry O'quinn played my favorite "guest star I loved to hate" on TNG when he played Riker's old Captain, coming back to salvage a secret, illegal federation cloaking device and forcing Riker not to tell anyone. He was a perfect cool guy/asshole blend, the kind of guy you'd want on your side but only up to a point. Terry will always be Admiral Pressman to me.
