It is adorable (but the image is too full of white background for me to place it here). Those of you who might remember when I had magenta hair may find it even more accurate. The socks-with-sandals is a problem, but there's nothing you can do about that...

The glasses are particularly ace.

I'm tired of today. Can't it be tomorrow already?

LOLzers. And oddly enough, you chose the grownup configuration, which for some reason none of the Darkhorsers did (except Dave Land, who just substituted a picture of Mr. Burns).

Did you use simpsonizeme.com for this? Because when I try that one, it just seems to perpetually load the image. I never get a picture.

Huh, that's weird... no, it's simpsonsmovie dot whatever, as reflected in the URL. It might be a browser issue you're having.

We need to make a plan to go see BodyWorks, and then eat some dinner. Let me know!

I like that one. My version of that mantra is, "Where am I, and how do I get out of here?"

Appropos to nothing in particular, I have a friend who's shopping for a literary agent. You're the ony LJ person I know who'd likely clue me (or her) in about such things. Which comes first, pitching the book into slush-piles, or finding an agent to do it for you?

This is the relevent post...

I know you just live to give struggling newbies a leg up in the business, now that you're rich and famous... /me ducks and runs

My answer is - I have no idea.

I don't have an agent and I haven't got a better idea of how to get one than "old fashioned slogging".

An agent, if well-connected and lucky, can get your foot in the door a LOT faster.
