Better now, it seems. I have gotten ridiculous amounts of sleep in the last few days; maybe that's had something to do with it. I even went out last night, to the Ash St. Saloon to see the Turn-Ons (the Charmparticles opened, and they were really delightful) and had my soul tickled and soothed again. ya know...I really do need to find a day to kidnap you and bring you to my house where I can burn you endless amounts of Duran Duran, Blur, XTC, and any other European TV performances from the last 30 or so years that I have in my collection (on DVD).
I recently acquired a Duran 1981 concert in England I believe and another Duranie from 1988 off of Italian TV.

Dude, bring it on.
All you have to do is schedule a day and it can happen - it just has to be decided well in advance so I can plan around it.

I need much, much more Duran Duran everything, particularly the early era - officially there's not a huge amount available, though fortunately John Taylor is pretty into his own personal nostalgia and at least shares pictures and art projects and other really embarassing, bad stuff that could only interest rabid DDers and students of British pop culture 1979-1983 (are there a lot of those? I don't know... I know several, oddly enough).

I can't wait to hear what you thought of Breakfast on Pluto!

Also, I heard that John Taylor left Duran Duran (again) and they accused him of being "difficult?"

One of my roommates let me borrow Breakfast on Pluto a while back. I didn't enjoy it that much, but it was still interesting.

I can't wait to see the movie.
