If it comes down to it, "Arrr!" (anyway, it's worth a try - I wonder if that'll be the case for any downloadable copy of the program?) Stuff bought through iTunes can be played through anything that will play .mov or .avi files, like Quicktime Player, but the versions of television shows sold through iTunes need a really fast processor on board. I don't need a broadcast-quality copy; I just need for it to move at 24 frames a second with sync sound and for it to be my cracktacular BSG, season three, episode four. So much bad shit is going down in that episode; I gotta get it ( ... )

I would also be very happy to tape episodes for you on my beautiful TiVo and put them on DVD.

iTunes video has totally ridiculous requirements considering the quality of other videos that run on half the hardware. But you know my feelings about that subject (iTunes and the pain it brings) already.

It looks like you have someone who will hook you up, but this is one of the shows P is TiVo-ing along with Dr. Who. Just in case.

excellent - because i haven't even said anything about my lust for Dr Who... so keep me in mind before you dump all that. And i can watch vhs... just not currently on the big tv.
