I can completely sympathize. I know those stings hurt like hell. Over the weekend while doing yardwork, I was cleaning out one of my birdfeeders and got stung by five wasps on my upper left arm. I didn't even feel them on me until they were stinging me. It turns out, there was a small nest right under the feeder.

Oh yuck! I am so sorry. I always get deathly ill from tetanus shots so I can only imagine the pain you are in. Feel better soon.

+it may be too late to work... but my mom always slabbed a combination of water and baking soda on my many stings as a child. not sure if it sucked out the poison, but it did make it feel better?

I sat on a bee once, with obvious result, but haven't gone flesh first into a wasp stinger before, holy shit!

I have crutches for you if walking is a problem?

Crutches are not necessary, but it has been almost two full days and it still hurts/itches. I was awakened at around 3:30am clawing at my ankle, and grateful that I trimmed my fingernails to the quicks a few days ago. I got up, (claw! claw!) grabbed my ice pack, (claw! claw! just a little bit more before I) slathered the ankle with diphenhydramine cream, and collapsed back into bed without even really opening my eyes.

It itches right now. Oh jesus how it itches. Dang.

Itch the smooth silk stockings gently adorning the ankle and it could feel like some kind of special occasion? I've known garlic to stop the itching in bug bites, I wonder if it would help.
