I'm fine. To tell the truth, I didn't even notice the earthquake. It seems kind of impossible, but Gifu is far enough away that the intensity was only a 2 or a 3 on the Japanese scale, which you can only really feel if you're holding still. I'm pretty sure I was hoisting small children up on my shoulders at the time, and didn't notice a thing.

Hi, Laura! I haven't talked to you in years (about the same amount of time I haven't logged onto livejournal), but when the earthquake hit, I wanted to make sure you were alright. I'm glad you are! I talked to Carolyn the night of, on facebook, and she's also fine. Anyway, we should catch up sometime!
