My LCD TV died today (Fuck Toshiba, it was built on 03/08), and on the way to Frys to scope out what they had, got a fix it ticket for an expired registration.
I've got a 37" 1080p LCD from Westinghouse that I've had for more than two years now and it sees maybe 2/3 hours of the day on and in use (computer screen). Still going strong, I do notice that if I leave specific colors on the screen a looooong time it will burn in a bit, but it always fades after a while back to normal.
