This is a really great story. If Elena ever does have to become a vampire I'd love to see her turn to Elijah for guidance because he has more control on it than anyone, and just because I hope for any significant screentime for these two.
I love that they're off in their own little world, and yet not. Because the rest of the world doesn't wait for them to figure everything out (be it living human blood or the Salvatores), but they do find a way to get through it.
Exactly, I'm not personally too keen on Elena becoming one in the show (but it's a fun concept to play with), but if she does I definitely want her to have Elijah's help too.
They do seem to have a different dimension where the other is concerned, it's what first attracted me to this couple after all.
