I can't believe that it has been 3 weeks since I have posted. I have plenty to say just haven't gotten around to posting. Things here in NYC have been a bit crazy with all the mandates. If Fire, Police, and Sanitation workers don't get their first covid vaccine by Monday, they are on unpaid leave. Between the mandates and people over 65 eligible ( Read more... )

got my booster a week ago - moderna - easy peasy. my arm was hardly sore. felt fine ever since.

Good to know! I got Moderna as my original shot. You don't hear of many people who got Moderna, so thanks for telling me about your experience.

Mr Cee and I are due our boosters in a couple of weeks here. I've heard that it can cause a few reactions, but I'm hopeful we won't have any problems.....

My original shot was Moderna but here in the US, more people have gotten Pfizer. So I haven't heard much about how the booster has gone for people who got the Moderna shot.

I'm not eligible for a booster shot, but my mum had one a few weeks ago. She had a mild allergic reaction to her second shot that was a bit worse for the booster (big itchy red spot on arm) but other than that she was fine.

She got Pfizer. The red spot mostly looked weird but didn't bother her too much, I believe it's gone now.

I didn't have to wait at all. Which makes me think, "Aren't enough people getting their booster, who could be? There oughta be a line!"

I did have the side effect of a very sore arm for a day and a half. It was nothing, compared to actually getting Covid.

I got my booster shot yesterday. My arm is a little is sore and I had a slight headache yesterday but nothing else. CVS has the Pfizer shot so any time I go in there, there is a bunch of people waiting in line. Walgreens had the Moderna, since fewer people got Moderna there were only 8 people waiting for a shot. We had to have an appointment, no walk-ins.
