So I just spent roughly three hours downloading a few songs I wanted over my shitty dialup connection. And after three hours what do I get? Some fucking cuntwad who thought it would be smart to upload their own crappy ass music under the name and title of a popular artist to get more downloads ( Read more... )

I did the same thing, but I was downloading a movie...after hours upon hors of downloading I GOT PORN..ASSHATS!. (It was even worse because it was a childrens movie, what if one of them downloaded it and suddenly they click and expect to see say "Bambi" and get "Cum guzzling highschool sluts!"

Yeah, now I have a faster connection I've found that it's not just Bambi, it's other children's movies they do it too also.

And yeah I read the comments on the new ticket site and some parent was going SICK because her 9 year old kid ended seeing porn for a few minutes before the horrified mother noticed what was on the computer screen O.o;

What songs were they? I could probably get them all in like 15 mins and just upload 'em for you. :P At least then you know you're getting the ones you want.

Holy crap, that SUCKS.
I downloaded one like that years and years ago, and I was *infuriated*.
I think it is so they can get more downloads, but what's the point if you're just going to piss people off? It's like an artist wanting more comments by getting their painting and smashing someone in the face with it.
I'll happily grab the songs for you if you don't want to risk it again :/ dialup is annoying for that.

LMFAO! That's actually a very good analogy. XD

I actually managed to get the two main songs I was interested in, by downloading with a program that allows you to preview the songs as you're downloading, so there are no NASTY SURPRISES after three hours.

But, if you'd be willing, I'm actually trying to get my hands on the new Linkin Park album. >>* *shame* It's partly a nostalgia thing.... Aw hell, there's no excuse. XD
