so i had two glasses of wine and kraft dinner with hot dogs for dinner. how classy. this is the epitome of student living. oh wait, im not a student anymore. haha. i still think i need some sort of official closure on that particular chapter of life, as my party of book burning did not follow thru. if you have any ideas, please let me know. i will ( Read more... )

I agree that you should follow your heart, that generally is the root of your gut feeling and you have to follow that! You can think up anything you want and eventually you start believing it, but it's not what's in your heart.
What kind of wine did you have? I love a nice glass of Shiraz! Goodluck with the new step-mom...eek!

Tephie, darling, sometimes the heart needs to be followed. If it is coming through louder than the brain, there's a reason for it. Sometimes, you have to, no matter how wrong you know it is, no matter how many people are against the idea, no matter what the possible reprecussions you may face, follow your heart.

In the end, it is better to regret something that you have put your whole heart into, than regret never having given something a fighting chance.

Hiiii...well, i think you should follow your heart, cos even if somewhere down the line the situation changes, and feelings change, at least u can say with certainty that for one point in time u truly did what u believed in. i think it takes more to follow your heart than to put that feeling aside and do 'the right thing', cos what is that anyway? thats my 2 cents!

I hope that passive aggressive line about someone not leaving a comment wasn't directed at me! haha... this is my first time looking, I swear.
This is fucked that all the D'arcy gals are on live journal! woot.
As for all of this "do what you want" versus "do what you know is right" i feel that, given my history, i'm not the best person to offer advice. but i do know this. a few of the times in the past I "followed my heart"... and it fucked me and other peole over. but sometimes, when i "listened to my brain", i fucked myself and other people over. either way, you're taking a risk, so don't make it harder for yourself by asking if it is the right or wrong thing. I'm sure you'll find out in the end.
Anywhoo... congratulations on making top seller!! woot! that's my girl. you certainly deserve wine and kraft dinner!
