Miss B's grandfather's partner has escaped gaol. She received 10 months home detention which will at least spare us the pleasure of her presence at the house although not an absence of phone calls if tonight is any indicator ( Read more... )

Yes, the judge knows Miss B is now in care, Apparently there was a lot more about her that had to be suppressed because she is a ward of state.

For home detention she will wear an electronic bracelet that will be monitored 24/7. She won't be allowed to leave her home except for approved things such as doctors visit and alcohol and drug therapy. Our place certainly won't be one of the approved places!! Now, if only they would bar her from telephoning us everything would really take a turn for the better.

No wonder you are furious about the use of your "special little girl". At least home detention saves the taxpayer the money it would cost to keep the woman in gaol.
Would an ansaphone shield you from the phone calls?
