It's a sign?

Wednesday morning before work I stopped at walmart to drop off a new prescription. It was early and there was barely anyone there, so I got a spot that was in the row next to the door, 5 spaces in. Nice and close ( Read more... )

I believe in the power of coincidence. Unless, of course, it happens again...

Yesterday I got the closest non-handicapped spot to the door at Walmart.

When I was leaving, some guy sat with his blinker on to get my spot. Now, the spot beside me was open (albeit SLIGHTLY small because of how the person on the other side parked). I definitely sat in the car and waited to see how long he'd wait just to get my spot. He probably waited a good 3 or 4 minutes before he took the other spot that he had no issues fitting into.

Walmart parking lots are like crazy zones. I still couldn't believe it. I would wait 5 minutes for a spot at our walmart because sometimes there are literally NO SPOTS AT ALL! It is crazy. Also, I would have parked next to you and waved. :-P

It wasn't even really that busy, there were lots of spots.

I just like to play with people :)

Yep, a sign that... you're lazy? J/k I park far away on purpose. I like to say I'm a much lazier driver than I am a walker. I refuse to wait on someone to pull out of a spot if there are *any* spots open that don't require waiting in the lot. If the furthest section of the lot has lots of available spots, I go straight there and don't even try for something closer. Also, this has nothing to do calorie burning. It's just the way I am. :)

Most of the time I don't particularly try to park close or wait for spots, but I was in a wicked hurry both times (like, running through the parking lot, running into the store, etc) and the guy was almost out of the space when I turned down the row - I had to wait for him to finish pulling out anyway. The last couple days have been nuts. I worked 8-7:30 yesterday and wednesday and managed to do errands before and after work both days and not miss any of my TV shows - but during commercials cleaning, cooking, and packing! Insane! I'm looking forward to relaxing in about 10 minutes.

You're going to relax in ten minutes? That's a mighty quick drive.
