I'd say cyclists wouldn't use bluetooth headsets because it's unsafe, but that doesn't stop people from carrying on extended conversations on their cell phones while in the car. Or my brother from texting in the car. Oh god.

Now that I am totally settled into New Apartment Land, you should come visit. I don't recommend spending the night, though, as the trundle to my trundle bed still lacks a mattress. (You'd be surprised how hard it is to get 72" X 30" mattresses. Okay, maybe not really.)

Also, you should meet seishonagon at some point because she is a former Mawrtyr in the area, and when I hung out with her yesterday, she said something along the lines of "I could write a book about Utena."

No, safety certainly doesn't seem to be on the mind of many.

I would love to come visit you at CP. Also, I would love to make conversation about Utena and its extensive analysis-worthiness (but of course!).

When I was in Philly over the summer I'd sometimes see people who were not only riding without a helmet, but who were also listening to their iPod. It's an incredibly dumb thing to do, especially when one's in a city.

Yeah, I somehow felt like most cyclists would be smarter than that, whereas I expect this kind of dumb behavior from drivers. I understand that bicycles lack stereo systems, but still...

I've seen it once. And I can wear the headset with my helmet, since my headphones are bigger than my bluetooth and I wear them just fine.
