D'awww, just "pretty good"? Honestly, I just try and look at these things for their entertainment value now. Trying to focus on the plot inevitably leads to disappointment, so I just look for the pretty and shippy and sparkly in most things now. Plus, this episode's plotty part didn't even matter--it was just an introduction episode to the new characters. The new can be scary, but just think about it being something different that is also awesome!

It wasn't a disappointment. I'm just never really crazy about the first episode of the season for DW for some reason. Because all it was was introducing characters and the plot didn't matter, I was a bit bored at times.

It was still good though. I just like my plot, even if it is terribly holey most of the time.
