Not quite as elegant as the cellphone, but it seems to serve it the same purpose nonetheless. Quite interesting it is to be left with such a trinket yet deposited out in the middle of nowhere.

It's a world very different from our Earth - there doesn't seem to be much information on the history of Discedo available, but almost all the original residents seem to have died. There are a few left - the 'scientists' - who are the ones working whatever machinery brought us here. The place's infested with monsters of various kinds - some Pig Cha-Chas, and a whole host of weirder-lookin' things. On top of that, you aren't gonna have any more powers than your average human. The scientists implant a chip that blocks any kind of supernatural abilities. It can be removed through surgery.

You might wanna avoid surgery for the moment, though. There've been quite a few deaths from infection followin' it up recently.

I had realized that my abilities were nonexistent and a lack of a UG to return to. Unless there is one and I am unable to retreat there due to this inconvenience. One should applaud their ability to actually manage such a feat.
