anyone like to paint? then feel free to come and help ben and myself paint our new place. my most awesomest parents drove out from birmingham yesterday to help us get started - but they're paint nazi pros. they love that shit. but we'll probably be doing it for the next week or so, on weekends and afternoons. i just bought and painted my brother's room that exact color! yay yellow!

the colour is actually "orange spice". we started out with "vintage orange", but that turned out to be way too close to some shade of school bus yellow. bah.

it's a happy fun room. colour is good.

i am so with you on this! As soon as i get my own house, there will be yellow and blue rooms (like this one) with orange accents, pink + white + black rooms, the dining room will be red, omgosh i am getting excited just thinking about it!

That blue sample looks like one of the ones I brought home to think about painting my room. Pretty colors!

It looks like you had fun. Crazy colors - all nice and fruity like some children's cereal.

really? i LOVE ironing. maybe it's just a metaphor - the idea of getting the wrinkles out. working out the kinks.

painting, however, is horrible. that's why i'm currently trying to trick others to help me paint. i'm offering valuable consolation prizes, though.

yeh, between the orange in the bedroom and the pink in the bathroom, it's a very smooth sherbety feeling. not as bold as it might seem.

but yeh, we're still painting. i was doing the trim work today. i wanted to kill myself.
